Mary Jacob specialises in the pedagogical side of e-learning. She has been e-Learning Advisor since 2006, and also has served as a development officer at the Department for Information Studies. Prior to coming to AU, she spent seven years as a lecturer in the East Asian Languages and Cultures Department at UC Davis in California.She developed e-learning materials for the traditional classroom, computer lab, and online. She presented at UC Davis’ Summer Institute on Technology in Teaching and contributed to development of the Educational Technology Partners programme, in which academic staff were trained in the use of educational technology.
