Webinar title Social Learning 101: An Introduction to Social Software for Learning
 Webinar date 29 February 2010
Staff member Mary Jacob, E-learning Advisor
 Department Information Services

On 29 February, 2010, I attended a one-hour webinar offered through Learning Objects on social learning. This webinar covered a range of useful ideas for using the Campus Pack Web 2.0 tools such as Wikis and blogs. I found the samples of grading rubrics and instructions for students especially useful, and recommend them to any staff wishing to create a blog or Wiki-based learning activity.

You can access the slides on SlideShare here.

Dr. Nancy Rubin's blog, Objects of Interest, has other useful articles and timely features, as well http://community.learningobjects.com/Users/Nancy.Rubin/Objects_of_Interest/
