Videoconferencing

This session will cover using videoconferencing for a variety of purposes including administration and teaching. It will introduce users to the AU studios, booking and organising a videoconference, and what to do if things go wrong.
It will also cover to how design meetings or teaching sessions to enable interaction and engagement by all participants.

E-learning brownbag series, followed by an open e-learning clinic
10th November 11.00-12.00
In this second session of the series, Ed Chadwick (Sports and Exercise Science) and Anwen Jones (Theatre, Film and Television Studies) will share their e-learning innovations. Ed will present on the work done in various Sports and Exercise Science modules using online quizzes in Blackboard. Anwen will talk about a project looking at ways of enriching experience of video conferencing in teaching.
The session consists of two 20-minute presentations followed by time for questions and discussion. The session itself is facilitated by Graham Lewis (CDSAP). E-learning Support Staff will be available after the session for impromptu consultations with any attendees who would like help with any aspect of technology-enhanced learning.
