Statistics Teaching Colloquium

Supporting the development of students’ statistics skills

We have received information about a free event at University of Liverpool, which features a presentation by Basil Wolf, IBERS:

"The University of Liverpool is hosting a sigma northwest and North Wales maths network hub event on Friday 18th January 2013 (10.00 – 4.45pm) in the Confuscious Centre, 126 Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L69 3GW (Click for travel details  (114/C4 on map)

All are welcome to attend this free event which we hope will be of use to those supporting students develop statitics skills (particularly when it’s not their main subject). It is hoped that the range of presentations and workshops will introduce delegates to new ways and approaches
of supoprting students.

The event is free and a lunch buffet and refreshments will be provided. Places are stricly limited – please contact eddev@liv.ac.uk to register."

E-learning Brownbag Talk 29 November 2012

We are especially pleased to be working in collaboration with Bangor University to make the talks in this series available to staff and students at both institutions, through videoconferencing.

This session features one presenter from Aberystwyth and one from Bangor.
