Effective electronic feedback to students.

Presenter: Dr Denise Whitelock (Open University, UK)

Denise is currently directing the Computer Assisted Formative Assessment Project (CAFA). This work consists of three strands

1. Building a suite of tools for collaborative assessment.
2. Working with different faculties building and evaluating different types of formative assessments. Many of the questions have been built to address known student misconceptions for a given subject specialism.
3. Exploring how the introduction of a virtual learning environment (Moodle) is affecting the development of formative assessments and includes constructing a prototype that will facilitate free text entry for History formative e-assessments.

Audience members are encouraged to participate and contribute.
